Aula de Estrellas offers a Beginner Astronomy course for anyone interested in delving into the knowledge of the sky as a hobby. This is a live online course, once a week, every Thursday afternoon, from October 3, 2024, to June 26, 2025. The first class is free and without obligation!
The classes are live (not pre-recorded), with real contact with the teacher, as similar to an in-person class as possible. However, the day after each class, each student will receive the documentation from the previous class in PDF format by email, including the video recording of the entire class for those who had attendance issues the previous class.
We will have an email group and a WhatsApp group that will remain active throughout the course, through which students can exchange questions, suggestions, news, etc., with the teacher. In addition to these classes, up to three optional practical field observation outings will be held, one per each trimester of the course, to a location far from light pollution located in the provinces of Seville and/or Huelva. These optional outings will have a cost of €10 per outing.
